UGC NET Notification June 2021: National Eligibility Test (N.E.T) releases UGC NET Notification is conducted by CBSE every year to evaluate a candidate to be eligible for the post of Assistant Professor in Indian Universities & Colleges and Junior Research Fellowship. The main aim of UGC NET 2021 is to ensure minimum standards for entrants in teaching professions and research. CBSE will conduct NET in 84 subjects at 91 selected UGC NET Examination Cities spread across the country. The role of CBSE is only up to the conduct of the UGC NET Examination and declaration of result. The e-certificates to qualified candidates are issued by UGC- NET Bureau. UGC NET 2021 Application Form has been released from 10th August 2021. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) holds the National Eligibility Test (NET) on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC). Aadhaar Card is mandatory to apply for UGC NET. CBSE UGC NET determines the eligibility of Indian candidates for Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship & Assistant Professor both. Junior Research Fellowship awardees will be eligible to pursue research in their postgraduate subject from IITs or other national organizations.

Such candidates are also eligible for the post of Assistant professor in Indian colleges/Universities. For the year 2021, the UGC NET exam will be conducted twice i.e in December & June in a year. Candidates who have cleared UGC NET 2021 Exams can be a part of the teaching profession and research on several subjects of Humanities (including Indian and some foreign languages), Social Sciences, Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science, Forensic Science and Environmental Sciences. UGC or other institutions under various schemes provide fellowship to the candidates who qualify for the JRF. All questions of Paper – I and Paper – II will be compulsory, covering the entire syllabus (including all electives, without options). Syllabi for all NET subjects can be downloaded from the UGC website www.UGC.ac.in and are also available in the libraries of all Indian Universities. CBSE will not send the syllabus to individual candidates

It is notified that CBSE will conduct the next UGC-NET for Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor. The candidates are required to apply online from 10th August 2021. The last date for applying online is 5th September 2021 and the fee can be paid up to 6th September 2021, 5:00 p.m.  The CBSE has decided to use Aadhaar authentication for the applicants at the time of submission of the application form for UGC NET (July) 2021.
