CLAT Exam Pattern 2022, Marking Scheme – Check Question Paper Pattern. CLAT Exam Pattern 2022
Last year the CLAT exam was held through online mode on 23rd July 2021. This year the exam might be held in June/ July 2021. The CLAT exam pattern for UG & PG programmes are given below:
CLAT Exam Pattern Under Graduate (UG)
- Duration: The duration of the examination will be two hours.
- Number of Questions: 200 questions will be asked in the examination.
- Type of Questions: The questions will be of objective type (multiple choice questions).
- Language: The question paper will be asked in English language only.
- Total Marks: The question paper will be of 200 marks.
- Marking Scheme: Each question will carry one mark.
- Negative Marking: There will be negative marking process. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

CLAT Post Graduate( PG) Exam Pattern
- Duration: The exam duration will be two hours.
- Total Marks: The question paper will be of 150 marks.
- Type of Questions: The questions will be of objective type (multiple choice questions).
- Medium of Exam: The question paper will be asked in English language only.
- Marking Scheme: For correct answer, one marks will be given to the candidates.
- Negative Marking: There will be negative marking process. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

CLAT Syllabus 2022
There is no prescribed CLAT syllabus. For UG courses, the questions will be asked from English including Comprehension, General Knowledge, Mathematics (taught up to 10th class), Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning sections. For PG courses, the questions will be asked from Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence and other law subjects such as Contract, Torts, Criminal Law, International Law, Environment Law and Human Rights topics.
