CA Inter 2020 – ICAI CA Inter May 2020 attempt has postponed to July 2020: Revised date for CA Inter exams has also been announced for old and new syllabus and now the exam will be held in the month of July and August 2020. CA Inter is the second stage for pursing the CA profession. ICAI offers Intermediate Course (IPCC) 2020 to students who have passed 10+2 and CA Foundation course. CA Inter 2020 Result

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) declares the result for CA Inter May 2020 exam online at icaiexam.icai.org in the month of Oct 2020. To check the result online, students require to login using their roll number/ pin number and registration number.  The result for CA Inter 2020 is declared online on the official website icaiexam.icai.org, To check the result student need their roll number and pin number or registration number. The students need to score 50% qualifying marks in the exam and 40% marks in each section as well to be declared as qualified. With the declaration of CA Inter Result for May 2020 exam, the Institute also releases the merit list for the top 50th students.

Observations on the CA Inter May 2020 Question Papers

It is hereby informed that students can bring to the notice of the Examination Department, their observations, if any, on the question papers relating to CA Examinations being held in May 2020 by e-mail at examfeedback@icai.in or by way of a letter, sent by Speed Post, at the following address, so as to reach us latest by August 18, 2020.

Please note that only those observations of students will be taken up for consideration who provide their following details i.e.; Name of the Student, Registration Number, Roll Number, email-id and Mobile Number.

CA Inter 2020 Admit Card

The admit card for CA Inter 2020 will be made available on the official website icaiexam.icai.org. It is going to be released at least 14 days before the test. ICAI do not send the hard copy of the CA Inter Admit Card by post. Hence, it is the responsibility of the student to download the CA Inter 2020 Admit Card by online mode only. To download it, you need to log in by entering your Login ID and Password. It will consist of exam details such as date, timings, address of the test center. It is advised that you should take the print out of the IPCC 2020 Admit Card on an A-4 size paper.

The pattern of examination for students taking the Integrated Professional Competence Course has been divided into two groups, with a total number of 7 subjects to be studied by the students. CA Inter 2020 Eligibility

In order to apply for CA Inter 2020 exam, the students must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria. The students can check the CA Inter 2020 Eligibility Criteria from below.

  • You can apply for enrolment to any of the Group(s) of the Intermediate Course on passing the Foundation Examination
  • An Candidate who has already passed Foundation Examination or Professional Education (Examination-I) or Common Proficiency Test (CPT) shall be eligible for enrolment to Intermediate Course subject to complying with relevant conditions.
  • A student who has passed Common Proficiency Test and 10+2 examination conducted by an examining body constituted by law in India or an examination recognized by the central government as equivalent thereto may join for Intermediate Course with or without the option of Accounting Technician Course is also eligible to apply for IPCC course
  • Those students who are graduates/Post Graduate in the Commerce stream and have secured aggregate a minimum of 55% of the total marks or students other than the commerce stream having secured in aggregate a minimum of 60% of total marks or its equivalent grade in the examination conducted by any recognized University are eligible to apply for CA Inter 2020 exam.
  • Furthermore, students who have passed the Intermediate level examination conducted by the Institute of Cost Accounts of India or by The Institute of Company Secretaries of India are exempted from qualifying Common Proficiency Test (CPT) and can register directly to Intermediate (IPC) Course

CA Inter 2020 Application Form

The ICAI releases the application form for CA Inter May 2020 exam online at its official website. The students will be able to fill in details and submit the CA Inter Application Form 2020 by online mode only. No offline application form is going to be sent to the students by post. Applications for admission to Intermediate (Old and New Scheme) should be sent by paying the application as per the test center chosen by them. The students need to pay the Application fee by online mode using VISA or MASTER or MAESTRO Credit / Debit Card / Rupay Card / Net Banking.
