DET Odisha Result 2021

After completion of registration process, candidate’s documents will be verified at the designated Nodal Centre for Counseling (NCC). After the document verification process, Odisha Polytechnic result will be declared by the authority on the website. DET Odisha Result Rank Card 2021 will be announced online mode in September 2021. It will be published in a pdf format. It will be published in the form of merit rank. It will be comprised of application number, candidate name & rank as per category.

Odisha DET Merit List 2021

The authority will prepare a separate merit list for all candidates on the basis of the marks scored by a candidate in the qualifying examination. The General merit list will be made for candidates seeking admission to the diploma engineering/technology courses. In addition, separate merit lists will also be prepared for candidates, those qualifying under each of the reservation category. Similarly, the authority will also publish a merit list for lateral entry admission category for ITI/10+2 vocational candidates & 10+2 science with PCM candidates.

For Diploma in Engineering/Technology (1st Year)

Candidates, those have equal marks in qualifying examination, candidates having a higher percentage of marks in Mathematics will be considered at higher rank. If candidates have same percentage of marks in Mathematics, then candidates have a higher percentage of marks in Science will be considered at higher rank. In case, candidates having the same percentage in science, then candidates who have a higher percentage of marks in English will be placed at highest rank. If candidates have same percentage in English, then senior in age candidate will be considered at higher rank.

For Diploma in Engineering (2nd Year)

The merit list will be prepared separately for ITI, vocational & science passed candidates.

For ITI Passed Candidates: Candidates, those have equal marks in the qualifying examination, then candidates having a higher percentage of marks in trade theory will be placed at higher rank. Candidates securing same percentage of marks in trade theory, then candidates having senior age placed at higher rank.

For Science with PCM Passed Candidates: Candidates have equal marks in the qualifying examination, then candidates having a higher percentage of marks in Physics will be considered at higher rank. For the candidates securing equal percentage of marks in Physics, then candidates having a higher percentage of marks in Chemistry will be considered at higher rank. If candidates have same percentage of marks in chemistry, then candidates having a higher percentage of marks in Mathematics will be placed at higher rank. For the candidates having the same percentage of marks in Mathematics, the senior in age will be placed at higher rank.
